From our Roastmaster: "This is a dark roast and powerful coffee. It’s a 50% robusta bean Blend using an excellent bean from Uganda to add that strong spicy taste we know from Italian style coffees. The rest of the blend is arabica and originates from Ethiopia and Nicaragua. Ethiopia is the birthplace of the arabica tree and still producing probably the best coffee quality in the world. It is full of earthy and herbal tones. While our favourite organic coffee from Nicaragua brings the fresh and sweet citrus notes."
We have here a wonderfully bold, full bodied coffee full of chocolate, spicy and citrus flavours. Unique. Perfect for strong espresso and ristretto drinks with a thick caramel crema. But also amazing with a mokkapot and with milk drinks.
[Tip: drink this coffee as americano to smooth out the taste a bit - Add 40 ml of hot water to an espresso, to keep the beautiful flavuors. ]
