From our Roastmaster: "A beautifully balanced Single Origin from the rare Yellow Bourbon variety. This coffee can be traced back to a single, stunning farm: Fazenda Salto. This family-run farm in the heart of Minas Gerais, Brazil, uses a natural process to prepare the coffee cherries that highlight the sweet and full, yet smooth, flavour of their coffee in the cup.”

We are proud to work with them, to buy their coffee directly, not only because of the high quality of their coffee, but because of their values. The Araujo Reis family are committed to social, educational, and healthcare initiatives for their local community. They care about giving back to the local community, and share the gift of their coffee ethically. The farm is Rainforest Alliance certified to reinforce their sustainable practices.

Direct Trade with farms like Fazenda Salto means we are paying the correct and fair price for their coffee, directly to them, away from the damaging global traded coffee markets that keep prices low for farmers and high for traders. Read more about Fazenda Salto here.
